Australians enjoy access to shopping, museums, theatres, wineries and captivating landmarks such as the Great Barrier Reef, Uluru, Kakadu National Park and the glorious Sydney Harbour.

Australians love their cuisine and enjoy dining at internationally renowned restaurants. There is a vast supply of fresh Australian produce. The variety of ethnic food is diverse and also enjoyed by Australians. In the summer, Australians love eating outdoors and often host backyard, beach or park barbecues where local seafood is cooked to perfection.

Australia hosts several world famous sporting events and provides access to hundreds of sporting clubs for involvement at all levels. Families make the most of the country's temperate climate and favourite sporting pastimes include cricket, various codes of football, tennis, netball, camping, water-sports, bush walking and fishing. Skiing is also popular on the mountainous slopes in parts of eastern Australia.

Australia is economically strong and offers a high standard of living. We have low unemployment, a stable government and given the enormous amount of land (and coastline) available, many Australians live in large homes within driving distance of a beach.

Australia’s education system is of a high standard and many tertiary institutions are internationally recognised, both in academic and extra–curricular areas. Australia encourages international students as they add depth to classes with their unique cultural backgrounds.

Australia's size allows people to travel and experience the earthy Mediterranean lifestyle of the west, the dry arid dust of the centre, the leafy tropical climate of the north and the snowfalls of the south.
