Skilled Migration Australia

There are hundreds of skilled trades and occupations that are in demand in Australia and the list is growing all the time. Skilled overseas workers are able to find employment quickly and are paid well for their skills.

Qualifying for skilled migration is based on a points system. Points are earned through factors such as your age, your work experience, your trade or occupation and your English language ability. Other points may be added to your score if you have close relatives living in Australia, have studied or worked in Australia previously or are able to invest in Australia. You also get points if you are sponsored by a state that needs your skills.

There are several subclasses of skilled visa; some grant permanent residency from the day of arrival in Australia, whilst others are initially provisional, but provide a pathway to residency over three years.
